Mid-South Fishing Report for May 4 (Memphis Commercial Appeal)
Mid-South Fishing Report The following highlights the Mid-South's lakes and streams where fishing is best this week: Tennessee Pickwick Lake: Guide Clagett Talley (731-607-5266) says bass fishing has improved dramatically the past two weeks. During the early-morning hours, anglers are catching fish on topwater baits around main-lake points and in the backs of creeks. During that first hour of daylight, it's also good to throw a Strike King Series 3 crank bait or a Red Eye Shad on the main lake points.
