Dying Flutter

my platy fish is acting really weirdly and may be dying. HELP?

he/she is sitting in the gap between the rock and the gravel and fluttering, or whatever fins do, it’s fins really hard. he/she previously had ick the white spot disease (or it may have been velvet) but i have been treating the tank and the spots are gone. i’m kinda freakin out… is it giving birth? stressed out? dying? playing indiana jones?
WTF, FISHY.
i am treating the tank with super ick cure (API is the brand name). and i have a few fry… they’ve survived for quite a while surprisingly enough. it would be great if you could message me for more advice giving… thanks!

It would be good to know the gender of your fish because that plays a key role so ill describe both situations for you just in case i guess the gender wrong..

I believe you have a female platy…of course i havent seen your fish so i dont know lol:)…If it is pregnant that is an extremely normal sign of them about to give birth.. if she is swimming different and is seperating herself from the rest of the fish its probably pregnant..
– it could also be sick and im sorry to say if its a female and not pregnant then its likely to die im really sorry its really upsetting when fish die for me.. it could survive you should upload additional details about the medicine that you put in the tank so i know what it treats…

If your fish is a male then its really strange behavoir i would say that he is sick and that he needs medication i would go to your local fish store and tell them your problems and they will guide you to the right medication that would be my advice since i cant see your fish…
