Duel Lure
How would these effect work together?
if i activate “Grave Lure” and then play “Convulsion of Nature” wouldn’t my opponent have to discard all face-up cards they draw?
“Grave Lure” – turn the top card of your opponent’s deck face-up and your opponent shuffles the deck. when your opponent draws the face-up card, immediately send it to the graveyard.
“Convulsion of Nature” – as long as this card remains face-up on the field, both players must turn their respective decks upside down and continue the current duel.
i know there’s a rule for if Convulsion of Nature was activated first and Grave Lure would have to be activated face-down but what if Grave Lure was activated first? wouldn’t this mean all face-up cards has to be discard when drawn? please answer…and no negative comments if nothing nice to say.
It won’t work the way you plan because of Grave Lure. Grave Lure says “when your opponent draws THE face-up card” not “a face-up card” meaning that the only card your opponent is allowed to discard due to Grave Lure would be that single card.
Besides, Convulsion of Nature flips the deck over. So the face-up card from Grave Lure would be face-down, so one can still distinguish it from the rest of the deck and would have to follow Grave Lure when they get the face-down card.
