Do Doug Hannon’s fishing snake work?
i jsut bought this cool lure i saw on WFN called the fishing snake. do you know if it works? if so what is the best way to fish it and what equipment should i use when fishing it?
I don’t have any, I don’t buy into the fishing gimmicks of the world, I don’t even have a Banjo Minnow Kit, but what I have seen on the internet, is they float and they’re a fairly large plastic worm.
That’s all they are, a big floating PLASTIC WORM.
It might work in places where bass have been known to feed on snakes. It’s a topwater lure. I’m thinking work it like any other topwater; cast it out, let it sit for a couple seconds, give it a twitch, let it sit, repeat. Since it “supposedly” catches thirty-inch, eighteen-pound bass, I would use heavy baitcasting gear, heavy action rod about six-six to seven-feet long and twelve to seventeen-pound line.
