Double Fly

Duck hunting and fly fishing waders?

I need to get a pair of waders and would like them to double as both duck hunting and fly fishing waders. It would help to have boots suitable for both purposes as well. Any suggestions?

Two ways to go with waders…

1) Reasonably priced and heavy: These are usually neoprene with molded-in boots. Here’s an example from Bass Pro Shops

2) Expensive and comfortable: These are much lighter material and usually stocking food, which means you also have to buy Wading Boots. Here’s another example…

Personally, I went with a little more expensive and comfortable. I fish 3 seasons of the year, but duck hunting only takes up 1 season. I would rather be comfortable. They are usually not camoflaged, but mine are olive green…if a duck is close enough to see them, he’s usually on his way to my freezer.
