Different Colors

How do different colors of light effect how a seed would grow?

I know that plants with chlorphyll grow best in blue, purple, or red light, but how would the different colors of light effect a seed?

Generally seeds are underground or in some kind of fruit or something that provides it nutrients. Until the seed has actually sprouted, it’s not photosynthesizing, it’s only using sunlight for warmth. And in that case, it doesn’t matter what color.
