Diamond Braid
Is it appropriate to braid your horse with a continental braid for a hunter show? (repost)?
The horse that I would be using has a long mane, and I love the look of the diamond braid.

The pictures that I liked were the 3rd and 4th ones, with the braided forelock too.
Would this type of braiding be appropriate for hunter show?
No. Hunters is VERY traditional and you would stick out like a sore thumb with anything but hunter plaits or maybe a running braid.

That would be more apropriate for hunters with a very long mane. But if you plan on seriously showing hunters, you should consider having the mane pulled.
