Can stainless steel be coated with phosphate?

I don’t see a reason why stainless steel cannot be phosphatized. All ferrous surfaces will typically phosphatize with the usual treatments. You should call someone at Troy Chemical and ask them … they have a product line of phosphatizing agents.
