I need suggestions on fun Coast Guard jobs.?

I am going into the Coast Guard. I want to know a fun job that i can pick. I absolutely dread picking a job i wont like. I don’t want to be a johnny pencil pusher. When i get in i am going to college to get my associates so i can pursue my dream career to be a boat captain and enter O.C.S. So a job relevant to that would be awesome. But i mostly want a fun exciting job. Oh and my ASVAB score was a 79. Thank you

Ditto with previous answer. If you are going into the Coast Guard with the assumption that you are going to have fun, then you may need to find a different path to pursue. Now I am not saying the Coast Guard is not a great branch of service, it is and I love it to death but it is not all about fun. It is about saving lives and protecting the country.

Now, if you are interested in a challenge and something that will help you in your boat captain dream job, then I would go for BM. That will get you on a good start to where you need to be and the knowledge you will need later.
