Can i ride a Jinlun on my CBT licence?
hi, i am looking into buying a Jinlun JL125-11 or a JL125-13 but unsure if they are suitable for those with learner plates on a CBT… does anybody out there know? also, does anybody out there know what they are like? i currently have an Aprillia Habana Custom 50cc, and getting a little bored of it, and fancy something new…

Yes you can ride one on a cbt. Its not particularly powerful & comes well within the power output limit for leaners.
The reviews aren’t great & it’s cheap & chinese which usually means cheap & nasty rather than cheap & cheerful.
Its also pretty slow top speed 85kph (52mph) which means if you take your test on it you will only get an A1 licence not an A2.
If it were me I would try & get a secondhand SR125, much better prospect, won’t fall apart, qualifies as A2 on test & easy availabitity of parts/spares/servicing.
