What is your favorite bass lure?

What color, size , etc. And how do you fish it.
I gotta go with a Smelt or Boji Blue Gulp! Minnow on a painted minnowhead jighead and give a jerk and let it die or reel it in slowly and make it swim, or a watermelon red/Baby Bass colored Zoom Super Fluke. Fish it weightless on a 4/0 red gamakatsu hook, jerk it, let it die. Works great.

I guess I have more than a few but topping the list is the 12″ red shad color worm on a color matched (hand painted) 5/8 oz leadhead fished mid day in the deepest water I can find behind most all dams. After casting it out as far as I can Into the wind) I let it sink where I begin to bring it back to under the boat by raising it up about four inches and then let it cascade (pendulum) back to the bottom and jiggle it there. after ten seconds repeat. usually the boat will drift with the wind adding to the presentations distance.
