Bait Casting
What’s a good beginners bait-casting combo?
I have fished mainly Spinning Reels but am looking to possibly get a baitcasting I have a price range of $100 and under any suggestions for brands or models would help
Abu Garcia is my first pick then Daiwa. I only use Abu baitcast rods/reels but have owned a couple Daiwas and cheaper shakesperes as well. The best for your money hands down in my opinion are the Abus. The Black max series are or were around 70 bucks when i got mine. Go to basspro.com and look at them. I bought one then ended up getting another a month or so after. There really great all around setups. They have a 6:2:1 ration which you can do anything from cranking a buzzbait in to slow rolling a spinnerbait.
Like I said the Daiwas are good too. You have to spend a little more money to get the same quality as the abu but again there great also.
