is it safe for me to use a automatic fish feeder while i am on vacation?

i have a 10 gallon tank with one betta, 4 neon tetras and 1 nerite snail. i got these 3-day pyramid fish feeders, and it says it is good for 15-20 average sized aquarium fish in a 10 gallon tank (that would be one overstocked tank). they will not be fed for 3 days, and will only get one meal for another 1 day. is it worth it? will they get overfed? should i just fast them????

Those feeder blocks are a good way to destroy your tank, major pollution problem. You will not be around to do anything about it, so you end up loosing fish.

Adult fish can easily go for two weeks without being fed, I would do a water change before you leave, and not worry about them.
